On Traveling with Friends:

” And let your best be for your friend. If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also. For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?” Gibran

The last time I was in Dallas, my mom, my best friend Lindsey and I were headed to see the Van Gogh Experience @vangogh.experience and we hopped in an Uber with a Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 flag swinging from the rear view. As is our usual, we all got to chatting about how he came to be in Dallas, the nascent Puerto Rican community there (he had bounced from Miami to New York to Dallas) and obviously the conversation landed solidly in the territory of famous Puerto Ricans (as it tends to do). Linds mentioned my love and dedication to Bad Bunny 🐰 and that’s when his little eyes lit up and he said, “Oh, you mean Benito? I’ve known him since he worked at the grocery store in our town! I was a Spanish teacher for a while and all the kids kept asking me to tell them what all the @badbunnypr lyrics meant and I was like, you know man I can’t tell you but that is a good reason to learn Spanish? Heyyyyyyy” Louis, you are a real one, sir. Thanks for the best Uber ride- me and Linds are still sending each other Bad Bunny memes signed “love, Louis.” This is your friendly reminder that traveling with your best friends is the gift that keeps on giving; the memories you make together are the jewels that see you through the ups and downs of life. And travel tip- the drivers have the best stories 😉 @llkkwy #badbunny #dallas #girlstrip #nuevayork #puertorico🇵🇷
