Clear the Mechanism.

The Blue Mind on dry land.

One thing about growing up in the country is that you don’t realize how much you will miss the quiet until you move away. Going shooting might seem like a noisy pursuit, but it’s actually quite the opposite. It’s where I find a deep and abiding sense of peace when my life feels anything but peaceful. Riding out into the clear blue light, admiring the precision of beautifully rowed field- my heart begins to unclench. It’s the same feeling you get as fisherman, pulling away from land- “the Blue Mind”- I’m sure there’s an equivalent term for the joyful weight of a shotgun in your hand and a breeze in your face. I didn’t grow up shooting; it is something I’ve picked up and won’t put down for the rest of my life. The opportunities to travel and meet other people doing the same are endless- there are #fitasc courses all over the world 🌎 I’d encourage you to follow where your interests take you, as a travel advisor, but as a fellow human. The universe is speaking if you are listening- nudging you towards finding the things that make your heart sing. #sportingclay #shotguns #countrylife#countryliving
